Each year, LLDSS holds two major events, an annual Buddy Walk and Golf Outing. These events help us spread our message of inclusion and education of individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities.  

We also hold monthly meetings and socials for our Down syndrome families.

2026 Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society 20th Annual Golf Outing

For over 20 years LLDSS has acted as a support network for families having a member with Down syndrome residing in and around Sangamon County. LLDSS is an Illinois not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization, which promotes awareness, acceptance, inclusion and education of people with Down syndrome and other special needs.
